Ross Martineau (Actor) is originally from the granite state of New Hampshire but has called Kaua’i home for the last five years. He received his BA in Theatre from the University of New Hampshire, and his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Ross has been in numerous productions in New York City and the San Francisco Bay area, as well as television, national commercials, and film. Kaua’i audiences may recognize him as Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, the title character in The Wiz, or the beauty among the beasts in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Ross likes people who like theatre. Therefore, Ross likes you!
Nellie Foster (Producer/Actor) has a very strong and diversifyd theatre background. Her theatre experience includes acting, directing, designing and stage managing. Her time spent studying Creative Writing and Drama at Ohio State University has led to work with elementary and secondary ed students throughout the country. Her diverse acting credits include Meg in Crimes of the Heart, M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias, The Witch in Hansel and Gretel, Ay Caramba and Agnes Gooch in Mame. She has lived on Kauai since the summer of 2008. After living in Arizona for 18 years, she will never tire of Kauai’s lovely rain. Her greatest joy is her son, Ian, who recently graduated from the University of Arizona and moved to Kauai to “live the good life.” Her favorite saying is “Put on your big girl panties and deal with it.”
Cass Foster (Producer/Director) is Professor Emeritus of Theatre who taught at Ohio State University and recently served as the Director of the Theatre Department at Central Arizona College. If he isn’t writing you’ll find him exploring one of the many beautiful beaches of Kaua`i.
Jeff Demma (Actor) is a ham at heart known for his signature, effervescent smile and disarming joie-de-vivre, oh, ‘er good looks. He truly believes that life is a stage and just an ongoing performance…one after another…after another. You may have seen him “on the boards” in roles such as; The Arthur Miller’s All My Sons (well, not so smiling in that role); The Young Fool in Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; The Tin Man in The Wiz, The Egg Man in Beauty and the Beast, Mortimer in The Fantastiks or even singing in Kaua’i Sings cabaret performances. Who knows what’s yet to unfold! Jeff says; “laugh, cry, poke, cajole, share a joke, or just feel the emotion, but most of all enjoy, tell your friends, support live theatre or simply come back again!”
Aaron Martin (Understudy/ASM) Like Superman, Aaron has dual identities. By day, he is a mild mannered middle school teacher and at night he is performing on Kauai stages. His last case of split personality occurred on Kauai in KCP’s production of All My Sons, where he played Chris. Other past performances (off island) include: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Scapin!, Richard III, and Arcadia. Aaron would like to send his love to Chiquita and Mosa.
Ian Foster (Understudy/ASM) comes to us as a recent undergrad from the Univ. of Arizona in Tucson. Acting, baseball and a cold corona are his passions. He played college baseball and coached high school JV. His acting background goes all the way back to playing the title role of Nate the Great at the age of nine and most recently as hansel in Hansel and Gretel: ¡Ay, Caramba!. When Ian isn’t at the theater or the beach, he can be found leading island visitors on inner tube adventures.
Robert Repass (Stage Manager) moved to Kaua`i from Orlando in 2007 with his partner Mark. His first play ever was working back stage on a local production of The Wiz. He then graduated to Stage Manager on Ross’ production of Parallel Lives and loved it. So when he was approached by Oceanside Productions to be Stage Manager, he could not resist.
